Titanfall feels familiar to Call of Duty in the button configuration and basic mechanics, but the addition of jetpacks brings the consideration of verticality into the players equation. While "camping" had its benefits in COD, this is not the case in Titanfall. The verticality forces the player to continue moving as there are few "safe" areas to camp. Similarly, the inclusion of jetpacks for brief double jumps and wall runs creates opportunity to scale many buildings and jump across rooftops. I found myself having to relearn the FPS formula as Titanfall's fluidity offered so many more options for the player.
Graphically, the game looks great (not outstanding). But that is second to the level design and sharp controls. If you want a game that looks great (at the expense of gameplay) please buy Ryse. If you want a game that plays well and truly feels "next gen," Titanfall is the game for you.
Unlike others, I do not have a problem with the lack of a single player campaign. There is an "attempt" at a campaign (labeled "campaign") but i'm not sure I could write a one-sentence synopsis. But is that really a bad thing? Many FPS gamers only pay attention to the multiplayer component and this practice (of not including a single player campaign) isn't being pioneered by Respawn here. It's a AAA title without a single player (but with a REALLY good multiplayer).
My only gripe is a lack of multiplayer diversity. One would think that if the game lacks a single player then it would be brimming with multiplayer options. That isn't the case here. Don't get me wrong, the included modes are fun (expect for "Last Titan Standing"), but I do think more variety would be nice. Articles on the web suggest that DLC and updates should add modes (and up resolution. Gotta have more "P" because more "P" is better! Sigh. This resolution bit reminds me to the "bit" wars of the 90's. Few could tell you what a bit was then, few can explain the significance of a game in marginally higher resolution now.)
Pros:
+ Spectacular controls and gameplay
+ Takes the FPS genre forward by throwing verticality and significant movement into the equation
+ Good, balanced maps
+ Nice balance between pilots and titans
+ Great (not outstanding graphics)
+ Good online service (no server problems to date)
Cons:
- Lack of variety in multiplayer
4.75/5 (Five Stars)
Combat with Titans is plain awesome, but so is combat with a pilot. The mechanics are very similar to Call of Duty and other combat FPS games but the inclusion of Jet packs give you all kinds of parkour capabilities. One of my big complaints with combat FPS games is getting to the high ground for sniping. The best places were always out of reach. Not in Titanfall. It feels like being Spiderman as you run on walls and double jump to heights unobtainable in previous shooters without jetpacks. In games like Halo when you used your jetpack you become an easy target flying out in the open. In Titanfall the jumping and wall-running are best done in close quarters such as hallways, alleyways and such. You can make your way up to the top of the urban landscape without being overly exposed. Never fear, there does not seem to be any fall damage, so climb as high as you want. Another great feature is unlimited ammo. You still have to reload, but you don’t have to scavenge ammo off bodies or simply run out and die. Titanfall was designed to keep you fighting, not frustrated.
The visuals are just as good as the gameplay. The maps are well thought out and can expose the strengths and weaknesses of your Titan and pilot “load out” choices. Detail level is great and it has all the eye candy you would expect in a next gen console game. That brings me to the only con I found. It can be a little choppy when everyone is on screen blasting away at once. It is not that bad, but it is noticeable. Maybe if I was running the game on a high-end PC gaming platform with dual GeForce Titan video cards, 32GB of memory and a top quality ultra-high resolution monitor the visuals would have been better. The downside to that platform is it costs thousands of dollars for a system that is obsolete in 3 or 4 years. For the same price I can buy a 60” TV, an Xbox One, and a subscription to GameFly for the next 10 years.

Da die meiner Meinung nach besten Waffen die Standardwaffen sind, gibt es auch keinen Ekelhaften Grind oder eine schwierige Anfangsphase. Ich hatte dieses Spiel schon für die XB360, mich hat es begeistert.
